Is talk really cheap? I honestly don’t know. Some days I feel like it really is, and other days I feel like talking is the only solution to certain issues. Regardless of your take on the phrase “Talk Is Cheap,” from MEANT MORE will definitely get you hooked.
“Talk Is Cheap” is the first-ever song from MEANT MORE and, if it’s any indication of what’s to come from this band, it’s safe to assume that this band will be your new favorite pop-punk band. “Talk Is Cheap” is a classic, no-frills kind of pop-punk anthem. It’s bouncy and infectious, but it has just the right amount of grit and angst to make the track pop. Listening to this song made me want to dive into my standard nostalgic pop-punk playlists from the genre’s golden era (which we all know was the early 2000s), while also making me super excited about the future of a genre I tend to swim in daily. I wish I had more to say about this song, but really, it’s just one of those perfect kinds of songs that doesn’t need my words to describe it. It just needs your ears.
