I’m not feeling “Restless” today. I’ve been getting stuff done since I woke up this morning and plan to keep that trend going. That being said, I feel like I’m “Restless” most of the time, so I was instantly drawn to this new song from SOSA THE SODA because of its name, but it wasn’t just that. After checking out “Get This Started” from SOSA THE SODA last year, I haven’t been able to get this band name out of my head, so I was excited to see what they have been up to with this new track.

As you may have assumed from the song title, “Restless” is about being, well, restless. It’s about wanting to slow down but having a fear of missing out if you do slow down. This song is an inner mental battle put to words and an infectious beat and SOSA THE SODA nailed it. It’s a pop-punk-perfect kind of jam that will both fill you with a world of energy while making you feel exposed because the lyrics and message behind this song is just so painfully relatable. “Restless” may be an ode to an inner struggle but it’s also a song made for a sunny and perfect kind of day. This isn’t the first time I’m telling you about SOSA THE SODA and it surely won’t be the last so go ahead and do yourself a favor and show this band some love and get on their train so I don’t have to keep on shoving them down your throat.
