Girl at the Rock Shows

Yesterday was a super rough day in my world. It was one of those days where nothing seemed to go right and it left me feeling frustrated, helpless, and exhausted. I think my day could have been salvaged had I had time to check out some new music to keep me calm but, alas, it was too nutty of a day for me to even find time for that. I’m not going to start today by saying that it will be different and I will make up for the lack of new music shares yesterday as I feel like that always is a bit of a jinx, but I will say that, thanks to the help of SOSA THE SODA, I’m ready to “Get This [new day / fresh start] Started”.

This song is about starting fresh, pursuing your goals, and not letting anyone or anything hold you back. Long story short, this was just what I needed this morning. This is a fun pop-punk anthem in the vein of Knuckle Puck and The Story So Far with a slight Four Year Strong playful energy behind it all. It’s fun and has plenty of rises and falls that feel like the trials and tribulations that come with chasing your dreams and following your heart. I have no clue where SOSA THE SODA is from or if they tour much but I know that this is one act that will absolutely be on my radar from here on out because this is the kind of song that begs to be seen live.
