St8 of Decay is a super short song at only one minute, forty-one seconds long but holy crap this song packs a punch. It’s all over the place stylistically with an almost hip-hop feeling drum and bass background with intricate keyboard parts while lyrics with a sense of edge and aggression flow over everything else. Intrigued? Well, my job is done.
Kidding- but really, this song is quick and dirty. It’s a bit repetitive but I found it to be so addicting and it had me hooked. It’s one of those songs that, every time you listen to it, you pick up on something different. It honestly took me a few listens to really hook into the keyboard part but, once I did, that’s about all I could hear.
Although this track came out a year ago, lyrically it’s still very timely which is just the icing on the cake.
