HEARTS APART has a new EP due out at the end of April of this year and to say I am anxious about hearing the full EP after hearing “Still Burn” would be an understatement.
“Still Burn” starts off with a guitar lick that is sure to pull you in before blasting you with the sound of their good ol’ fashioned rock n’ roll vibe. This song is electrifying and full of energy but also with this almost odd southern influence. You kind of get a taste of it in the guitar work but I feel like the vocals really just stamp that southern influence into your heart in a perfect way. I’ll be the first to admit that this style isn’t normally my thing but the amount of heart that comes through with every word throughout this track was more than enough to have me sold and intrigued.
This song is perfect to give you a little jump start of energy when you need it or also perfect to keep the party going all night. It’s just one of those perfect toe-thumping kind of songs that is sure to put a smile on even the most stubborn and stressed out face.
