I somehow linked up with Claire Hawkins a couple of years ago. She had sent me her single “Small Doses” and to say it was love at first listen would be an understatement. You can ready the interview I did with her back then HERE but I’m here to tell you about her new single, “The Name”.
This song, like the video and everything else Claire does, is absolutely stunning. Seriously every word and note is uber-drenched in passion and love creating a very cozy atmosphere that is so easy to fall in love with. The video is simple but the strong imagery makes you feel something down to your core. “The Name” may be a fairly low-key and chill song from what I typically share out but there’s something about listening to this song and watching the video that has me ready to take on the world and, for a fairly sleepy Wednesday, that’s exactly what I need.
