“Don’t Ever Hide Your Face” is a simple statement but an important one. It’s something that is so much easier said than done but listening to this track from B. Hamilton is a good reminder of it and, with how good this song is, it will surely quickly become a daily mantra for you.
The old-timey start to this track feels a bit out of place at first but, as the song hits it’s stride, it makes sense. There’s an almost carefree vintage vibe throughout this song that instantly put a smile on my face and a pep in my step. There’s a lot going on in this song which should be overwhelming and, I’ll be honest, when I tried to separate all of the parts in mind, it got difficult, but the way B. Hamilton has woven all of these elements together is genius and, as a whole, sounds anything but overwhelming. I can’t stress the amount of calm that swept over me as this four and a half minute song blared from my computer and I truly wish I had more to say about it but the fact is I was just completely zenned out in all of the right ways so, what are you waiting for? Stop everything and just chill out for a couple of minutes while listening to “Don’t Ever Hide Your Face” from B. Hamilton.
