Girl at the Rock Shows

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I hope your day is off to a good start. Mine is but I’m missing some new music to keep my motivation and energy level up. Thankfully, I have a whole slew of amazing music to share with you today starting with “Hoppy Stilted Blessing” from The Tilt.

I love the message behind this song. In general, it’s about perseverance but, when you dig a bit deeper, it’s about so much more than that. You get that feeling with the triumphant energy that surrounds this track which is what caught me the first time I heard it. There’s just something so joyous and infectious about this song but, at the same time, there’s a very important message in the track that needs to be heard. The Tilt has a very unique sound blending a traditional pop sound with something a bit more avant-garde. Think a litte bit of Muse mixed with vocals that, at times, feel more like Refused, but, altogether, come together to form a very commercial-friendly track. Although there are elements of this song that felt and sounded familiar, there were also elements that caught me off guard and kept me intrigued throughout the nearly four minutes. It’s a great song with a great message and amazing vibe so what are you waiting for? Check out “Hoppy Stilted Blessing” and show The Tilt some love!
