Happy Tuesday, everyone! We’ve made it. Only to Tuesday, but we’ve made it nonetheless and that calls for a celebration in the form of some new music. Okay, “shake me mad” from Terrorists of Romance is far from new as it came out three years ago but it’s new to me and surely new to some of you as well.
If the infectious beat that kicks off this song doesn’t catch you, the visuals in the video surely will. Honestly, this is one of those songs where, although it’s a super solid track, it was the video that really had me hooked. The beat is infectious throughout this track and the vocals strong much like the visuals. Even though, like the song, the video is fairly simple, there’s something so impactful about it. “shake me mad” is a perfect blend of indie rock sensitivity and alt-rock energy creating a super cool sound that is both unique and accessible at the same time. All of these elements make this song a can’t miss track and Terrorists of Romance a band that deserves more attention than they have gotten so let’s blow this band up and get them that notoriety they clearly deserve.
