Girl at the Rock Shows

My day just got a bit nuttier than expected due to a lot of people being gone from my day job but I won’t let that stop me from getting a bunch of stuff done and doing it with at least a half smile on my face. That being said, I need a jolt of energy for me to keep up the momentum that I’ve had going and that’s exactly what “WHAT’S YOUR NEED” from FISHLORD does.

I’m honestly not sure how to classify this track. You could call it indie pop, pop-punk, electronicore, hyper-pop– honestly, you could call it a multitude of things but the more important thing is the blast of power that comes with this quick two minute and fifteen second song. The beat, although frantic, is perfectly controlled while everything happening over the beat seems to be a bit all over the place. This song is not for the faint of heart and I could hear how some people may think this track is nothing more than a bunch of loud noises jumbled together but, to me, it’s a beautiful cacophony of sound that hit me down to my bones in such a perfect way. My only complaint about “WHAT’S YOUR NEED” is the fact that it stops and stops abruptly at that. If I could have a full days long soundtrack that gave me the amount of energy that this quick song did, I would be one happy camper.
