Girl at the Rock Shows

It seems like a lot of the singles I am sharing out today have come with zero information about the band or the track. “Infiniti Stoned” from Manners is one of those songs but like some of the other tracks I’ve already shared with you today, “Infiniti Stoned” really stands alone and need very little as far as an introduction goes.

“Infiniti Stoned” is absolutely a rollercoaster of a song and that’s what really hooked me about it. You get moments of more hardcore influenced vibes followed quickly but something a bit more tender and a bit more emo leaning. I love how this band jumps between the two feelings without firmly standing in one or another. It makes Manners’ sound unique in two scenes that seem to be fairly over saturated these days. On top of all of that, I loved the almost DIY mentality that I got from the words and the delivery of the words. Don’t get me wrong, they are perfect but there’s something slightly scratchy and almost retro feeling about the vocals that just helped emphasize every word in a perfect way.

I wish I had more to say about “Infiniti Stoned” and Manners but, as mentioned, I didn’t get any background and, instead of rambling, I feel like you should take this time to check out the song so do it! Just do it!
