I feel like the phrase “Everything Is Temporary” is one that we all say and think a lot but don’t really understand the full impact of it. Sure, we can look at the big picture and think about how we are only on this planet for a temporary set of time but we can also look way smaller to the stress you’re feeling right now and how, at the end of the day, that feeling is temporary. Atlas : Empire’s song of the same title, “Everything is Temporary” had me thinking all of those things and then some.
If you want to feel heart and passion seep through a track, look no further than Atlas : Empire. With a start that instantly reminded me of The Forecast but a sound that morphed into something a bit more heavy hitting yet with a Paramore-esque chorus, this song had me on the edge of my seat as I listened. All of the different movements and influences you get throughout this nearly four-minute long are vast and varied yet Atlas : Empire has a very solid sound. This was definitely a cohesive piece of music which just goes to show you the genius behind this band. They were able to take a little bit of everything amazing and meld it into this song and their overall sound. This song came out in 2023 and is the title track of Atlas : Empire’s latest album so, if you like this track, be sure to check out the full album!
