My mouth is on fire from my lunch. It was my leftover Thai curry from when I was super sick with strep on Friday night. I don’t think I realized then just how spicy it was but I’m feeling it now. This has nothing to do with the next single I have to share with you but it’s all I can really think about right now. Let’s hope that “Warning Label (Back to California)” from True Alarm helps get my mind off of this constant burning in my mouth.

A pop-punk band from Texas, True Alarm instantly had me falling head over heels for them. Everything about this song is perfect especially if you are a pop-punk princess (or prince) like I am. I mean, the video even has a realistic bunny costume head just like back in the good ol’ days of classic Blink-182. Even though this is giving me all of the nostalgia, there is something super fresh about True Alarm’s take on pop-punk. Sure, it’s fun and upbeat but there’s this commanding element to the vocals here that really kept me hanging onto every word. “Warning Label (Back to California)” is the first single from True Alarm but I really hope it’s not the last that I get to share with you all!
