I’m not sure where time is going and how it’s already after 10:30 AM but I know that it can slow down whenever it wants to. It’s not that it’s been a particularly good morning for me but I am getting a lot done and looking at the clock made me realize just how much faster I need to work today to get everything done that I want to. Long story short, it’s time for a little break and this one is brought to you by “Little Fires” from Tom Repetto.

This song isn’t in your face and aggressive like the majority of music I share out in the mornings and on Mondays in particular but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stop everything and check it out. There is so much heart and soul throughout this song that it’s impossible to not fall in love with Tom Repetto as a musician and overall human within just a few seconds of this track. I didn’t get much information on who Tom is or anything like that. The only note that came with this track was , “Written for a friend that passed”. Honestly, without that note, I may not have caught onto that. Although you get that pure love and organic emotion throughout this song, I took the track as a bit more of a celebration than anything else. That’s not to say that a song about a friend passing can’t be jubilant and refreshing, more just that that’s not what I picked up on the first time I listened to “Little Fires”. Regardless of what hooks you, something about “Little Fires” from Tom Repetto will surely win you over.
