Girl at the Rock Shows

I haven’t had the chance to catch Maria and the Coins live since I saw them back in July of 2021 but they are one of those bands that never leaves my mind. They have such a great sound and overall vibe to them that I often dream about the next time I’ll be able to catch them but it just hasn’t been in the cards. That being said, after hearing their new track “Something Good”, I plan on stacking the deck so I can see them perform again sooner rather than later.

In true Maria and the Coins fashion, “Something Good” comes with an infectiously fun energy but also a sense of depth and sensitivity. That’s the magic thing about this song. Every one of their songs makes you want to dance (especially this new one) but, at the same time, it makes you feel something deep in your soul. This song in particular is about fighting through the struggled of every day life. Don’t sit there and roll your eyes. I know this is a message that is often a theme in music especially the music I gravitate towards but it’s because it’s an important message and a serious one at that. I love the way that Maria and the Coins are able to convey the important message behind this lyrics of this song while making sure this is a Friday night ready party anthem at the same time. It’s a great song and a great way to get your blood pumping so what are you waiting for? Check out “Something Good” and let’s shower Maria and the Coins with the love that they absolutely deserve.
