This isn’t the first time I’ve told you about The Listros and it certainly won’t be the last. Two months ago, I shared their single “Into The Otherside” with you and I’m back with another one that continues to dive into The Listros’ distinct and fantastic sound.
“Hands Against The Wall” is The Listros’ second single that deals with that feeling of being in love with a toxic person (or thing, I suppose) and how it can drive you crazy because you know it’s not good for you but you’re stuck. I love that that emotion comes through so loud and clear throughout this song. You get a sense of frantic desperation and panic with the power that comes through in this song but also get a sense of power as if signifying the fact that you do have the power to change things. All of these emotions are bundled up with a bow of pure perfection as far as the recording and composition of this track goes. Stylistically, this song just feel like super great in-your-face rock. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it metal or hard rock but it’s situated perfectly in a world of music that will get you moving regardless of how sleepy you are this Thursday morning.
