I try to keep my booking company (that’s right, I have another company in addition to this one and the day job because I’m a true workaholic) completely separate from this blog. I just feel like it’s a conflict of interest to both write about a band and be their active booking agent but, in the case of “Piece of Me” from Samsara, I just couldn’t resist sharing it out with you because, well, it’s perfect.
SAMSARA has found the balance of all things good in this three minute and forty-four second song. It starts off with a truly dazzling guitar part and emotional vocals but this song is far from one-line. The dynamic rises and falls throughout this song are truly spectacular and, although there is contrast throughout this song, that balance makes the song feel completely cohesive. The smooth vocals just accentuate everything else happening in this song to give it an overall crisp and clean feeling. “Piece of Me” may not be a super intense, in-your-face kind of track but it will surely catch your attention and spark an obsession with this up and coming band.
