A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of getting to catch Admiral Fox perform at their EP release party. You can read that review HERE but, in case you missed it or don’t believe me that this band is worth your time, I wanted to share their song “security guard at the hospital” with you.
An indie-pop band from right here in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Admiral Fox has a very delicate touch with their music yet there’s a sense of fire and passion that comes with every word and every note. This comes through loud and clear in “security guard at the hospital”. If you’re looking to get lost in your own thoughts and head, pay attention to the gorgeous words in this song. If you’re just looking to get lost in general for a couple of minutes, just listen to the beautiful instrumentation in this. Regardless, you will surely be hooked by this band’s perfection and overall sound. One of my favorite things about this song in particular is the build that happens. It’s subtle at first but, as you get to the end of the song, you realize all of the growth and the dynamics that Admiral Fox has fit into just three minutes and twenty seconds.
