Girl at the Rock Shows

As an emo kid who refuses to give up the lifestyle, I have to strongly disagree with the title of this new song from baby tsar. That being said, I adore “being sad is going out of style” so much and think it’s a song that deserves to be shared so, terribly song title or not, let’s dig into this new song.

I know that this song may lead you to believe that this is a bit of a heartless track but, the truth is, this song hits with such a sense of emotion and delicacy that it will leave your jaw on the ground. Even with that tenderness and emotion, there’s energy here. It’s very much in the vein of bands like Hot Mulligan and saturdays at your place but it has an almost deeper sense of nostalgia attached to the track. I really wish I had more to say about this track and baby tsar in general but, the truth is, I don’t and this is just one of those songs that is good for no other reason than it’s a solid track so, instead of reading my ramblings, just go ahead and check out “being sad is going out of style” for yourself.
