Girl at the Rock Shows

I’m still riding the high I got from my show on Monday night. It was truly a spectacular showing of emotion and power and it left me next to speechless so trying to get into work mode today has been a rough to say the least. I’m really hoping that checking out a new song will help me get my head in the game as far as having a productive day and I’m hoping that “Love I Can Love” from the Baker’s Basement is that song.

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, the Baker’s Basement (tBB) is a folk duo that has a story to tell. Not only is there a story behind the lyrical detail in this song, but there’s an infectious energy that comes with it. Although they are a folk duo, tBB has a larger-than-life kind of sound that hits you perfectly. It somehow fills you with a sense of energy and life while making sure you stay calm and grounded. It’s a fun little bop that, although nearly four minutes long, seems to be over in the blink of an eye but have no fear. tBB has plenty of other tracks out there so, after you check out this track and inevitably fall in love, feel free to check out some of the other amazing songs they have out there!
