Sometimes you just need a banger of a song to help keep you motivated and keep working. That’s exactly what you get from “I Vaped Again Last Night (And I’d Kill To Be In Love)” from Customer Service.
An alt-emo band from Halifax, Nova Scotia, this track starts off slow and steady but quickly turns into a twinkling emo-pop-punk anthem that will get stuck in your head within the first listen. This song is highlighted by gang vocals and heart-on-sleeve styled lyrics. I seriously felt like Customer Service had written this song just for me. Although I know that’s not true, it just goes to show how well worded this track is overall. The bouncy tempo creates a feeling of seeing this live even though you’re probably just sitting at your desk right now. What I mean by this is, as the notes pass by, it’s hard to not picture yourself in a sweaty mosh pit of a crowd and that’s really just the cherry on top to an already stellar track.
