Most new music comes out on Friday but Zoe Ko’s new single “DIRT” isn’t like most music so it only makes sense that it was dropped today.
This song is full of attitude. That’s the first thing that really caught me. From the vocals to the instrumentation and all the way to the video, this song just screams bratty energy and I mean that in the best way possible. I was instantly addicted to the heavy bit and the way it mixed with the the more commercial and pop-punk leaning vocals. There’s something cheeky about Zoe Ko’s overall being that I just can not get enough of and, when mixed with the infectious energy of this song and the perfection that comes with everything behind this song, well, let’s just say that I’m obsessed. “DIRT” will make you want to leap up from wherever you are and starting dancing and prancing all over the place with a sense of swagger and attitude that you didn’t even know you had in you. So what are you waiting for? Pull up with the bad ass energy that is Zoe Ko and have a little fun this morning.
