Girl at the Rock Shows

I honestly have no clue how to pronounce the band name here nor do I know how to say the song name but, sometimes, you don’t need to know that. Sometimes a song just speaks for itself and that is absolutely the case with “ÄIÄ” from Luutarhatontut.

“ÄIÄ” is heavy and intense which is what drew me to this track. It feels completely chaotic and all over the place yet the band never loses control throughout the three minutes and ten seconds. It’s a pretty amazing things to hear but, more importantly, something amazing to feel. You constantly feel like you’re on the edge in this song with the amount of tension there is and I love how alive it made my feel. I know that all sounds dramatic but this song is exactly that– dramatic and full of energy. Although the lyrics aren’t in English so I can’t pinpoint certain words or phrases, I can tell you that this song has an important message behind it. Its about trying to get men to understand it’s okay to be vulnerable and show their feelings so, in the end, things don’t get bottled up to the point where they turn into violence. There’s a tenderness in this message the pops in and out throughout this track just continuing to show the genius behind Luutarhatontut.
