It’s time for a reintroduction to Number One Sons. I introduced this band to you back in January with their single “October Air”. I instantly fell in love but, just in case that track didn’t hook you, the band is back with “Done With Everything” which will surely have you sold.
This Saint Louis, Missouri based rock band has a powerful and almost arena-ready sound. It’s a standard rock song that leans in and out of certain subgenres and influences depending on the song. This song in particular leans super heavily into a Green Day influence. Although I feel like the vocals of this group is trying to imitate the legendary Billie Joe Armstrong himself, something about this song keeps it from falling into a “carbon copy” kind of classification. This is a fun and punchy song that will surely fill you with life and send a smile spreading across your face while making you want to get up and dance around. What I’m trying to say is that Number One Sons is a band to watch and their song “Done With Everything” is proof of that.
