Happy Friday, everyone. We’ve made it to the end of another week. This one felt like both the longest and shortest week simultaneously and I, for one, am stoked for it to be the weekend even though I work through my weekends because the grind doesn’t stop. That being said, I was so wrapped up in work yesterday that I didn’t have much time to share out new music with you. I’m not going to let that happen again today and am starting today off strong with “Down Bad (She’s Hopeless)” by Ari Bose.
This song is super powerful so brace yourself. It will evoke so many emotions from you while making you want to dance due to the infectious and bouncy chorus. There’s heart and fire behind this song that comes through almost instantly. Sure, it’s another one of my classic pop-punk jams but Ari Bose has a bit more depth to their sound outside of just being pop-punk. There’s angst here but also a flare for the dramatic with a leading edge falling into a more pop-styled tone than most pop-punk bands. Whether you want to feel the heaviness of the words down to your soul or just want to get lost in the infectious energy that you get from “Down Bad (She’s Hopeless)”, Ari Bose is the band for you to get your Friday started off right.
