Oh no! The early afternoon sleepies have a hold on me. I’m struggling to stay awake at this point in the day, but still have hours upon hours of work ahead of me. I need something to jolt me back to life, and “DISSOLVE” from Interlinked is doing just the trick.
Interlinked jump right into things when it comes to this three and a half minute song. It kicks off with blistering guitars that are the most delightful assault on the ears. Things only get more intense as the vocals come in and shoot this song off into oblivion. Inspired by the band’s love os psychological horror films, “DISSOLVE” is one of those relentless songs that seems to always be verging on the edge of chaos but, due to the pure talent of this band, never quite falls over the edge. It’s a djent-style metal song with riffs in the forefront and vocals that shine over it all. “DISSOLVE” is the lead single from Interlinked’s debut album, which is out now, so if you like what you hear here, make sure to check out the album as a whole.
