I feel like every day is a reset kind of day for me lately. I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing but I just feel like I wake up every morning and try to think of it as a brand new day. I know that’s exactly what it is but I think that, a lot of the time, we don’t really pay attention to this feeling. I’m rambling. I’m sorry. I think the coffee is finally kicking in and I have no outlet for the energy but maybe checking out “Better Days” from Reset Repeat will help me harness all of this energy into something productive and amazing.
This is one of those tracks that you could call punk, rock, alternative, emo, pop-punk– really, you could call it a multitude of different things but the constant would be that this song is a powerful and solid anthem filled with energy. Although there’s power here, I love how the beat remains fairly laid back and relaxed throughout this three minute and nineteen second song. This doesn’t mean that it’s a slow moving track in fact, this is one of those songs that seems to move much faster than you probably want. There’s grit and urgency hidden behind the emotion of this song that seems to bite while it also soothes said bites. Long story short, this song is another go-get-em kind of track that absolutely gave me a chance to gather up all of my energy and focus it on something a bit more productive than just sitting here and continuing to down my coffee.
