Perspective changes everything. I mean, that’s a given, right? We all know that if you change your perspective, you change how you see something but we also all know how difficult it can be to change your perspective in a time of crisis or defeat. That’s what Tried’s new song addresses and it seriously could not be more perfect.

You can feel a little bit of everything in this song from frustration to aggression, love to tenderness. The way that Tried wraps up all of these feelings into this quick, one minute and forty-three second song is genius and I was shocked how I was able to go through so many emotions in such a short time. “Spiral” is the first song I’ve heard from Tried but, based on the information I got about this act, it seems that their goal is to focus on the uncertainty of life in general as a young adult in this modern age. Although I am far past a young adult at this point, the feelings of this track still resonated with me and, although this was my first introduction to Tried, I felt as though this is an act I have been listening to for years. This song may be short but the sound and message is powerful so don’t sleep on it.
