Girl at the Rock Shows

Okay, I gave you a bit of a break but it’s time to remind you, yet again, that Bleeker is a band that you need to be paying attention to. I have shared out quite a few of their singles in hopes that you’ll listen to me but, just in case you are still resisting, I’m back today to share “Great Unknown” with you.

Out of all of the songs that I’ve heard from this amazing band, “Great Unknown” seems to be the one that showcases this band’s perfect swagger. It comes with every beat of this anthemic and powerful track about climbing to the top. It’s about not giving up when things get hard and about how, sometimes, getting your hands dirty is the only way to get to the other side. We may not know what’s on the other side but this song will give you the fire and drive that you need to get over there and find out. What I love so much about Bleeker is how they seem to bring a different vibe with every track I hear from them but, at the same time, every track feels distinctly like a Bleeker track. This one has an almost southern rock kind of influence whereas other tracks have leaned more into grunge and alt-rock. “Great Unknown” seems to be just another side of the dice when it comes to the band and it’s a side that I hope I keep on rolling as they continue to put out amazing music.
