I don’t hide my struggles with anxiety from you. I write about them all the time. I also don’t hide my love for Frida and The Mann from you. I’ve covered a few singles from this band before. I love when worlds collide and the way that my love for Frida and The Mann has collided with my transparency around “Anxiety” is just earth-shattering-ly perfect.

This song is epic but not in the saga metal styled song that I typically use the word “epic” to describe. “Anxiety” is an anthemic and powerful alt-rock pop song with Amy Winehouse swagger and Florence + The Machine power behind it. As you may have assumed, this song is about anxiety and how it’s a constant fight and, although you may find a way to overcome it every now and again, it’s never actually really gone. I know that doesn’t sound like a delightful or fun song but I love how Frida and The Mann has made such an intense and often abstract feeling and put it into a song. For those of you who don’t have anxiety and can’t relate with the daily struggle that that causes, I urge you to just get lost in the soulful and powerful work of Frida and The Mann. I promise you will not be disappointed!
