We all know that person who has a “Live Love Laugh” sign or something of the sort. Thankfully, I’m not that friend. Don’t worry, I have my fair share of cheese nailed onto the walls of my house but that’s not one of them. That being said, if a sign with that phrase had the same kind of energy that this song from Lüdo did, I’d be all about it.
“Live Love Laugh” seems to be just one hook after another, split up by heavy chaos that absolutely sang to my tired, manic Monday morning heart. This song is larger than life and is absolutely ready for an arena with the sheer power that comes through with every passing beat, but at the same time, there’s something beautifully unique about this song. Sure, it has your standard post-hardcore meets metalcore kind of vibe, but there are twists and turns throughout this two-minute and forty-second song that I didn’t see coming, and it kept me super engaged throughout this song. From the technical precision of the instrumentation to the emotive yet aggressive dual-vocal that happens throughout this song, “Live Love Laugh” from Lüdo is more than a mantra; it’s an anthem and one that should be blared from the rooftops.
