This isn’t going to make many people happy, but winter is coming. I, for one, am stoked about it, and although I know we are still realistically months away from our first snow, I’m ready for it, so I feel like now is as good a time as any to share “Snow Plow” from Mega Manhattan.

Does the name Mega Manhattan sound familiar? It should! I shared out their song “Please Don’t Sip My Water” about two months ago and have been obsessed with this band ever since. In case you didn’t catch the memo on this group or weren’t quite convinced about them based on that song, I’m sure you will get hooked after checking out “Snow Plow.” In true Megan Manhattan fashion, this song shows off this group’s unique “heavy emo” sound. There’s definitely emotion throughout this song (hence the “emo” portion of that phrase), but there’s also no shortage of angst throughout this song (hence the “heavy” portion). I love how this band can make you feel warm and cozy while also giving you a swift kick in the butt at the same time. With lyrics that leave you with a slightly choose-your-own-adventure kind of journey, “Snow Plow” is the kind of song that never gets old and always hits the spot.
