Girl at the Rock Shows

Happy Thursday, everyone. It’s been a short week, and that has me feeling the pressure of, well, everything, but I won’t let that get to me. I’m determined to keep this week moving smoothly and keep my head as above water as it can get while still enjoying my week. So far, so good, but I feel like my week has been lacking new music, so let’s spend a good chunk of today digging into some fresh songs, starting with “Please Believe in Me” from All Gone Grey.

All Gone Grey is a post-hardcore band from Daytona Beach, Florida, with a sound that will definitely catch you right off the bat when it comes to their song “Please Believe in Me.” Things move quickly in this song. The intense intro quickly gives way to haunting and beautiful vocals, which are quickly replaced by sheer angst and intensity. That constant ebb and flow throughout this three-and-a-half-minute song makes it feel like it ends in the blink of an eye. At the same time, you really get to settle into All Gone Grey’s sound in this song. It’s not hard to hear the control and creativity that they clearly put into their work, and I’ll be willing to say that after just one listen to this song, you’ll be hooked and left wanting so much more from this insanely talented group.
