I know I’m a bit late to the party when it comes to sharing this song out but “Comfort Place” by subtle is seriously great and is surely to be new to some of you so it’s still more than worth it to tell you a bit about this song.
“Comfort Place” is the first single from subtle but it really doesn’t sound like it. This song has a perfect blend of pop-punk, post-hardcore, and emo vibes while having a very flawless production behind it. It’s a powerful and loud track with a lot going on throughout the three minutes and forty seconds but you can easily hear all of the parts throughout this track which is truly a feat. There’s a sense of nostalgia in this song but also a fresh feeling behind it. Honestly, “Comfort Place” just checks all of the boxes for me so if you, like me, are a nostalgia seeker and are sick of listening to the same albums and songs you have been listening to for the past nearly twenty years, check out subtle!
