I love songs that can have a million different meanings and that’s what you get with “You” from Rare Tones.

This song is about “You” which could mean yourself, your friend, your partner, your sibling, your coworker– I mean, this list goes on and on. Regardless of who this song makes you think of, it will make you think of someone in such a beautiful way. “You” is an anthemic pop-punk jam that is essentially a tribute to all of the “You”‘s in your life. It comes with a sense of aggression but not in the standard sense of the world. The aggression is more the aggression and chutzpah for the love that you have for those that you surround yourself with. From flawless vocals to an infectious energy, this song is one of those tracks where all you can do is sit back and enjoy it which, for a Monday morning, is not the worst thing in the world. Beautiful four-part harmonies are just the icing on the cake when it comes to this song from German-based Rare Tones.
