It’s only 9:15 AM and it has already been a day. I won’t get into it but I’m a bit on edge this morning and need to chill out a bit so I can get back to work and get crap done. As usual, that’s where some amazing new music comes in so let’s start the day strong with “Into The Otherside” from The Listros.
Fuzzy vocals lead you into this song and into The Listros’ world so perfectly. This song is very punk with a flare for DIY stylings and an unrelenting sense of energy. Adrenaline-fueled and full of passion, this song hits and hits hard. It’s a song about addiction and/or lust and you can feel that throughout this song. You feel a sense of desperation sprinkled into the undeniable energy here that really helps convey the story of the lyrics. If lyrics aren’t your thing, have no fear, the instrumentation has the same effect as the vocals which is what makes this such an ear-catching track. The Listros is definitely a band on my “I need to see live” list after hearing this song and I’ll be willing to bet that after just one listen to “Into The Otherside”, they will be on that list for you too.
