Do you ever feel like you are struggling to stay above water yet feel accomplished and like you’re getting a lot done at the same time? It’s frustrating and more than enough to make me throw in the towel for the day but, thankfully, I have “Fight” from Baby Said which instantly became my anthem for today as I deal with these conflicting feelings.
Baby Said is a UK group formed by Italian/ Punjabi teenage sisters Veronica and Jess Pal. Just a few seconds into this song and I knew that, if we ever met in person, Veronica, Jess, and I would be fast friends. Why do I say that? Well, just listen to this song. It’s so full of fire and passion. It comes with a sense of swagger that just can not be put into words and a sense of “IDGAF” flare that is absolutely addicting. This song is as anthemic as it is original. The heavy beat gives you something stomp and raise your first to so perfectly. Like the song says, “we’re just gonna roll our eyes” and “we don’t run from a fight”… the perfect words to live by if you’re struggling in any way to get through your day, week, month, year… whatever. Thank you Baby Said for such a timely and perfect track today!
