I love Fridays but not for the reason most people do. I love them because on Friday mornings I send check-ins to all of my clients. This kind of wipes the slate clean and I get to restart my work for them in a way. It’s cheesy but it’s something I look forward to. Somehow I got all of those check-ins out already and it’s only 9:30 in the morning. This means I have so much more time to get a jumpstart on next week’s workload and spend some time sharing amazing music with you starting with “Snake Oil Sunshine” from Logan McAllister.
This song will catch you right off the bat with a slide of the piano keys. “Snake Oil Sunshine” has a big sound that is only matched by the energy that it brings to the table. It seems fitting that I would like to compare Logan’s style to Panic at the Disco because that’s what I’ve been jamming all morning. Call it fate or destiny– call it whatever, if you like the theatrics of Panic at the Disco, you will love what Logan McAllister brings to the table in this track. It’s very similar to the vibe I got from Logan’s other song “Clairvoyant” (which I reviewed not too long ago) but comes with twists and turns that keeps Logan’s sound fresh. If hearing “Snake Oil Sunshine” doesn’t get you excited to take on your Friday or help you prep for the weekend, I don’t know what will.
