Girl at the Rock Shows

Happy Thursday, everyone. Not sure where this week has gone but I’m struggling to come to terms with the fact that it is already Thursday especially given all of the things I still need to get done. Thankfully, I have some great new music to share with you today that will surely help me cope and, in turn, hopefully help you get through what is sure to be an insane day.

Let’s get the day started off right with “Actor” from Hands First. The tone of the guitar that kicks this track off says it all. It lays out a classic rock n roll sound that is only expanded on throughout this quick two minute and twenty second song. With grinding and fuzzy guitars, the punk styled vocals take this song into oblivion when it comes to the driving energy and force behind the track. Think a bit of IDLES mixed with something a bit more classic like The Ramones but with this hardcore twist that will remind you of bands like Turnstile and Militarie Gun. It’s a great blend and an ear-catching track that will definitely give you a burst of energy that is sure to last through the remainder of your day.
