Did the year switch from 2023 to 2024 have you reaching for the “Panic Button”? It did for me in a way. I just can’t believe it’s 2024 and it all feels a bit surreal but here we are. It’s 2024 and it’s time for a new slate and some new music to go with it so let’s get the year started off right with “Panic Button” from Showtigers.
This song is loud and in your face which makes it the perfect track to light a fire under you butt and to get you ready to take on 2024. As the song title may elude to, this song evokes a bit of a panic attack in the listener with the insane amount of power that comes through the song but, at the same time, there’s something oddly calming and energizing about the track. It’s a fast-paced, no-frills punk song with a DIY vibe behind it but also with a super polished feeling. It’s the best of both worlds and I feel like Showtigers shows you their teeth with this song while also showing their professionalism. Again, a perfect song to kick 2024 off with purely based on the energy it leaves you with so get this year started off on the right foot and give this song a listen and let’s show Showtigers some love!
