Although I’m in a very nostalgic pop-punk and indie-rock kind of mood today, I know that’s not the case for everyone so how about we check out something a wee bit heavier like “Custody of Dominick Ladder Match” from Bush League.

Although this is definitely a bit heavier than what I’ve been listening to today, this track is still perfectly situated in the pop-punk vein of things just with a bit more of an edge. The songs leans into a sound that blends A Day To Remember with old school Senses Fail in a perfect way but it also has a chorus that almost feels a bit more classic pop-punk like New Found Glory meets Neck Deep. Long story short, if you’re feeling the pop-punk jams today but just need that extra flame of fire under your butt, this is the track for you. Bush League has such a flawless sound but what makes this song even better than just that is the energy that you get when listening through this song. “Custody of Dominick Ladder Match” is one of those tracks where, when listening to it, you can easily feel the pressure of a packed audience around you. Pushing and shoving their way to the beat while watching your head for the inevitable crowd surfers. It’s that energy that is keeping me going this morning and I can not thank Bush League enough for bringing this single to life for me.
