Happy Wednesday! We’ve made it to hump day and it feels like this week is just flying by. This is great because it means the weekend is closing in but, at the same time, I feel like I am so far behind on everything knowing that the weekend is almost here. Whether this feeling is a good or bad one for you, I have some amazing music to share with you that will surely spice up your day starting with “Wildlife Honey” from Samuel Powers.
“Wildlife Honey” is the second release from Samuel Power since re-forming recently. This song comes with a dynamic structure but, more importantly, comes with emotionally drenched lyrics that wrap you up in a sense of coziness and warmth. The vocals are the most stunning thing in this track to me. They are just so smooth and gorgeous but this song would be nothing without the equally beautiful instrumentation happening behind said vocals. “Wildlife Honey” has a very Manchester Orchestra vibe about it but the vocals keep it feeling a bit more standard pop-punk in the vein of Yellowcard and Mayday Parade. Although this may not be the most energetic song I share out today, it’s one that will definitely get your day started off right and in a calming way so check it out and show Samuel Powers some love!
