Girl at the Rock Shows

I’m thankful time is going super fast today. Although I know this means that there’s no shot in hell of me getting everything done on my to-do list today, it does mean that I will be taking a nap sooner rather than later and, at this point, that’s all that I can really think about. Well, that and the fact that there’s a whole pile of new music to share with you all so let’s at least try and put a dent into that before the epic nap I will take after the day job, shall we?

“Shadows” from Faceless. has such a cool blend of genres. Don’t believe me? You hear it within the first few seconds. It would be easiest to call this a power pop track but it’s hard to ignore the clear influences that range from grunge to pop-punk that scattered throughout this track. Whether you want to get wrapped up in the mix of genres of this song or just get lost in the infectious energy and perfectly emo-tinted lyrics, there’s something here for you. “Shadows” is off of Faceless.’s debut EP ‘NOW’ which is out, well, “NOW” so please don’t mind me as I ignore work for the foreseeable future and just let Faceless. own my life for a wee bit.
