Happy Tuesday, everyone! This first single review of the day is a reminder of just how amazing American Thrills is and how, if you’re sleeping on this band, you’re doing it wrong.
“Impossible” is the first track off of American Thrills’ upcoming LP. It features Canadian rockers Northcote on it and, as much as I love American Thrills, I feel like the addition of Northcote just enhances their sound. You still have American Thrills’ distinct Americana-punk vibe but there’s just an extra edge that comes with this song partially due to Northcote, partially due to just the composition of this track. In true American Thrills fashion, there’s no shortage of heart and soul in this song. Each word is drenched with an undeniable sense of passion and emotion which makes it so easy to fall into their world and never want to leave. This song is part cozy and part energizing creating a perfect blend that will surely get your Tuesday started off on the right foot.
