Don’t get me wrong, I’m having a great day today and am getting a lot done but I definitely feel a bit of a headache coming on. I really hope it’s not a sign of things to come but more a sign that it’s the perfect time to check out “Headache” from Black Hat Nation.
“Headache” is full of the perfect amount of angst and aggression. Although it’s about an ex-girlfriend, I feel like the lyrics and the overall feel of this song could apply to so many different scenarios. For me, this song brings a sense of calm and peace with the way it gave me an outlet to blow off some steam. If you’re not a fan of skatepark music or think that punk-fueled vocals are like fingers on a chalkboard, this isn’t the track for you. If you’re like me and actively look for songs that mirror your current mental status with a sense of raw emotion, angst, and power, this “Headache” is absolutely the song for you. It’s situated in the punk world of things so perfectly and has a great catchy and ear-wormy chorus that will surely be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
