I don’t have anything new to share right now. It’s just been a morning of constant work but I’m hanging in there and just need a little break which means it’s time to check out another new song! This one comes in the form of “The Drum the Beat” from Outer World.
From mesmerizing almost siren-like vocals to a video that will have you laughing out loud, “The Drum the Beat” has it all. Overall, I would call this an 80’s-synth drenched song with more modern indie pop tendencies when it comes to the vocals. This blend creates something as captivating as it is full of life even with it’s almost retro tinge. The glittery vocals contrast the more severe drum beat that remains a constant throughout this song and the dreamy and lush guitars add that special extra sauce to create a song that you won’t just enjoy, you’ll start to try and analyze. Whether or not you crack the magic combinations that Outer World has to make their sound so amazing and captivating, you will surely walk away with “The Drum the Beat” stuck in your head.
