The Eiffels – “Beautiful Life” – Girl at the Rock Shows

I’m on a roll today and it feels amazing especially after the pretty not so good day I had on Wednesday. I’m feeling motivated, ready to take on the world, and am in that mood where nothing is going to get in my way. I know this isn’t going to last because, well, it never does but right now I’m in the mood to celebrate with some music and “Beautiful Life” from The Eiffels is nothing short of a celebration.

The beat is the first thing that will catch you about this track. It’s heavy and almost abrasive but also fun and upbeat. Overall, The Eiffels’ sound is very indie pop but to call them just indie-pop would be a farce. There are little nods to everything from pop punk to just generic top-40 pop scattered throughout this two and a half minute jam. Whether or not their playful vibe is for you, there’s something about this song that, I assure you, you will not be able to get enough. The positivity that radiates from this song both lyrically and sonically will have a smile spreading across your face in no time and the beat will have your toes tapping and head nodding whether or not you wanted them to. If it’s nice where you are, open the windows, let the fresh air in and jam out to this song.
