Do you remember the quirky and fun track “Canna-Vision” from MONTE that I shared with you awhile back? It’s okay if you don’t. Well, that’s not quite true but I know I share quite a lot on a daily basis so I’m here today with MONTE’s new song, “Control”, to remind you just how great this band is and how, regardless of your mood, they will surely put a smile on your face.
I seriously can not understate the amount of fun that radiates from this Brooklyn-based powerhouse trio. This song is particular is upbeat and comes with a satirical video about being in a controlling relationship. Everything about this song and video is cheeky. I mean, come on, this band has freaking puppets in the video! Add a No Doubt styled ska-influence is an already upbeat punk vibe and you are left with a song that will make you smile and dance all at the same time. I wish I had more to say about this but “Control” is one of those songs that is just super super fun and well done so, if you feel yourself lagging a bit on this Tuesday, go ahead and turn the volume up and rock out to “Control” from MONTE.
