If you tell me that a song has an “epic emo saxophone solo” in it, I will be intrigued. I don’t even know what an “epic emo saxophone solo” would sound like but, not going to lie, I was already in love with Dear Season and excited to see how they pull such a thing off in their new song, “Hakusho”.

Within the first few seconds of this four-minute and sixteen-second song, I knew this track was so much more than just the mentioned sax solo. West Chester, Pennsylvania-based Dear Season has a super emotional and raw sound, but also a very polished take on the sound. From glittery guitars to the powerful drums that seem to match the power behind every word that comes drenched in emotion, Dear Season had me hooked and completely lost in their world to the point where I completely forgot how I was drawn to this song. That’s when it happened, when that “epic emo saxophone solo” hit, and I’m not going to say that it changed my life, but I will say that it is as spectacular as one may think. So what does such a solo sound like? Come on now, you know I’m not going to give it away. I’m not even going to tell you when in this song that it hits. What I will say is that this song (epic emo saxophone solo and all) is more than worth your attention right now so check it out and make sure to show Dear Season some love!
