Girl at the Rock Shows

Today doesn’t really feel like a party. It just feels like another day at the office during the holidays, which means boredom followed by more boredom and a constant struggle to keep motivated and stay on track. That being said, For Pony!’s new song, “Party,” is changing the vibe at least in my office.

For Pony! says that this is “just a simple song about going out for a few drinks with your mates,” and that may be true, but it’s more than just a simple song. It’s a catchy and infectious anthem full of energy, fun, and heart. This Scotland-based pop-punk band absolutely knows how to pay homage to the pop-punk bands of days gone by while making sure to make their own mark on the scene. This song is fast and furious but the band somehow leaves enough time and space throughout this three and a half minute long song for the words and energy of the track to really sink into your soul and bones. Whether you’re looking for a little pick-me-up kind of track right now or are looking for a pre-game soundtrack for a night out, “Party” from For Pony! is the song for you.
